Acting on intelligence provided by diligent operatives of the Nigeria Police Railway Command attached to the Abuja-Kaduna Train Service (AKTS), a patrol team led by ASP Abdullahi Bwajin successfully tracked down and arrested these suspects shortly after the incident.

During interrogation, both individuals confessed to their involvement in the crime, revealing that they sold the stolen cable to an individual known as “Musa Major” for ₦90,000. Each suspect took home ₦30,000 from this illicit transaction, while another accomplice linked to the act remains at large.
